By Mark Millmore
The Temple of Hathor - There has been a temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor since the early kings of Egypt. The temple we see today was built during the Greco Roman period. It was begun before the reign of Ptolemy VIII and completed during the reign of the Roman Emperor Tiberius (from about 116BC – AD 34).
